It's that time again! The cycle is winding down, and it's time for us to play ANTM judges and look back over the models' portfolios in deciding who should win. Normally, this would be done the week before the finale with the final three girls, but this is a special cycle, so we're doing it early!

As always, no spoilers in this post. This post is for fun and for speculation, not for spoilers. Thanks!

So once upon a time ago Marie and I had a horrible argument about whether or not Growlithe was a dog, amongst other things.
Tonight we revisited this argument over the internet with Broseph. Thank you memegenerator. This is probably only funny to us, sorry.
( MEMEMEMEMEMEME growlithe is a dog lalala we swear in caps. )

I was looking at Polaroid photographers again and spotted this photo of Nicole Fox of the current cycle! It was taken by Mark Sink. His website is a little annoying to navigate, so here is a link to his blog, where I found the picture.

Photos and episode poll beneath the cut. Please note that although there are no spoilers in the post, people will discuss who went home, so you may want to avoid the comments until you see the episode.

Photo of the Week (as voted by Tyra and Co): Nicole
"Dive Deeper"
The ladies explore the cliffs of Hawaii and are forced to strike a modelesque pose while jumping into the water. Later the girls learn to pose while deep in the Pacific Ocean. Supermodel Marisa Miller is this week-s guest judge (#1310).

The problem with LJ: We all think we are so close, but some of us don't know much about one another. So I want you to ask me something you think you should know about me. Something that should be obvious, but you have no idea about. Ask away. Bonus points if you share a little known fact about yourself to me also!
Then post this in your LJ and find out what people don't know about you.

I was browsing on flickr and found some new photos of Jade McSorley from Britain's Next Top Model, cycle 5, taken by Daniel Gil Rodrigo. (They aren't on his website currently, but are on his flickr.)
According to the info, Jade is signed to Models 1!

Okay, I try to make a point of journaling about important stuff that happens to me. It's most of the point of why I keep a journal. Lately, I haven't been very good about it, but I'm trying.
On Sunday I drove up with Ashley and Mike to Cleveland, stopping at Ashley's old roommate's house in Dayton along the way with Val and Judith. Once we got up to Cleveland I was treated to a late-night tour of Cleveland before we met up with some SCA~affilated people for dinner at Applebee's. I use that term lightly since I think most of them haven't been active for quite awhile. But anyway, three of them work at TMW. I told them that I was up in the area for a job interview. One of the people at TMW, Tricia, said off-handedly, 'if you have any experience with tech support, we have an opening at our place.' Next thing I know I've given her a copy of my resume and I have an chance at that job over there. Neat! Anyway, everyone at the dinner was very nice and did a good job of making me feel at home, even though I was hours away from Miami. It was very nice.
The next day I wake up and take public transit to my interview. This was the stressful part. The interview itself went pretty decently. I was a nervous wreck most of the way there because I was constantly afraid I was going to miss my transfer or something. Mike, who works at the public transit headquarters in Cleveland gave me his number and assured me I could call him as much as I needed to. I think I called him like 5 times just for things like "okay, what side of the road should I be on?" and "are we sure this bus is supposed to come here?" It was all very silly. I ended up going straight from the interview to downtown Cleveland where I grabbed some early dinner with Mike then walked over to the Greyhound station. This part was also stressful, as the bus I was supposed to get on said "Buffalo" but was headed for Cincinnati. W/e. I spent most of the bus ride home studying for my exam today. I would have liked to relax a bit more, but that's what I get for being such a procrastinator.
So I get back to Cinci and Reiner picks me up. We had a nice chat about SugoiCon and the interview.
I noticed that both of my roommates have called me multiple times just to check on me and make sure that I am doing okay. This was really great of them. The most surprising part of this whole adventure is how much people were willing to support me the whole way. If it weren't for my super awesome friends, I would not have been able to make this trip. Everyone was really excited for me and very willing to help me out with anything I needed. That you so much, everyone! You are all so wonderful! I don't deserve to have such amazing friends <3
